Government has released 72- million Kwacha to clear outstanding retirement benefits to former workers at the Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority -TAZARA.

The money has been outstanding for the last year 15-years.

The categories of pension arrears that have been paid are under the Zambia State Insurance Corporation -ZSIC- and the National Pensions Scheme Authority -NAPSA.

Transport and Logistics Minister, FRANK TAYALI has advised the former employees to collect their dues from the two institutions.
