A Zambian Lawyer Dickson Jere has been admitted to the prestigious WIPO List of Neutrals as part of expert to help resolve intellectual property disputes around the world.

Jere has been admitted as one of the Arbitrators who will be available to be picked by parties to the disputes to resolve matters in commercial matters that includes creative content, technology and intellectual property.

Jere is the first Zambian to make it on the WIPO List of Neutrals. He is holder, among other qualifications, of Masters in Intellectual Property (MIP) which he obtained in 2016.

“I am looking forward to the workload in this area of practice, ” Jere said in a Facebook post following the announcement that he has made it the List of Neutrals.

WIPO is an international organisation of member countries that came together to promote and protect Intellectual Property rights around the globe.

Jere is a founder and managing partner of a law firm called Dickson Jere & Associates and once served as State House spokesman during the reign of President Rupiah Banda.
