The Energy Regulation Board-ERB has increased the pump prices of petroleum products by K4.44 for petrol and K0.82 for Diesel, while the price of Kerosene has been increased K7.95.
This means that Petrol will now be fetching at K35.56 from K31.12 while deseal will be fetching at K29.60 from K28.78 respectively.
ERB Board Chairperson Reynolds Bowa says the increment has been necessitated by the increase in the prices of oil on the international market coupled with the depreciation of the Kwacha agsinst the United States Dollar.
This is according to a statement issued yesterday and signed by ERB Board Chairperson Reynolds Bowa and obtained by Breeze FM news.
