INSPECTOR General of Police Graphel Musamba has warned politicians promoting hooliganism and defying the law that they will have themselves to blame for the consequences.
In an interview yesterday, Mr Musamba warned that the police are not going to sit idle and watch people deliberately abrogate the law.
He said police are watching and will execute their duties diligently without fear or favour.
āThose who are marketing hooliganism have no room in Zambia and we are going to deal with them diligently while sparing their rights which are enshrined in the Constitution,ā he said.
āThe police are not going to sit idle and watch them abrogate the laws of the land but are going to execute what they are there for.ā
Mr Musamba said Zambia has remained peaceful because citizens have been following the law and police enforcing when need arises.
