𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐲𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝

A 23-year-old woman identified only as Bwalya has survived a gunshot fired into her stomach by her boyfriend, Jeff Mulenga of Libala South who later shot himself dead, police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale has said.

In a statement on Wednesday, Mr Mwale said the shooting incident is believed to have happened on March 26, 2024 around 22:00 hours at the victim’s house in Chalala area.

Mr Mwale said police officers rushed to the scene where they found Mr Mulenga aged between 25 and 30 laying in a pool of blood with a gunshot wound on the chest.
