BWANA STABS WOMAN TRYING TO BUY ZNS MEALIE MEAL
An angry mob of Monze residents gathered in the late hours of Friday at Nchete Market after learning that a Zambia National Service -ZNS Officer had stubbed a civilian on the hand.
The Officer only identified as Bwalya believed to be between the age of 25 to 35 stubbed a unidentified woman on her left hand as she was making an attempt to buy the ZNS mealie meal.
According to some eye witnesses, the woman was making an effort to purchase the much desired mealie meal brand when she got in a confrontation with the said Officer who opted to stub her.
Some residents claim that this is not the first time such an incident occurred as they narrate that on a different event, he broke a child’s leg.
The victim was quickly rushed to the hospital as the said Officer was sneaked out in a ZNS truck with residents chasing it while chanting “Tifuna Bwalya ayende.”
Meanwhile, other residents feel this is part of a frustration act as the said Officer has been mentioning that he is about to be transferred to another station.
This was before an official statement from the police.
