The Epistles of Christ Network Foundation is inviting donors, corporate entities, churches and well-wishers to partner with it in scaling up its new humanitarian campaign dubbed ‘Spot Your Neighbour’.
The campaign, which encourages Zambians to take an interest in the welfare of others, is currently targeting orphans, the aged and persons with disabilities with basic necessities such as food, shelter and clothing.
Executive Director Ruth Machina said the initiative was born out of a Christian duty to love one another, but lack of funding is limiting its reach.

“We cannot manage on our own as you know we are self-funded and that is why we will continue appealing to well-wishers to partner with us and see how best we can work together in assisting our people that have been neglected in society,” Machina said.
Machina explained that the Foundation offers a credible, grassroots platform for any organisation seeking to invest in genuine community impact and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Eastern Province and beyond.
She stressed that taking elderly people to care homes should be a last resort, and that strengthening family and community support systems is more sustainable.
“We are appealing to donors and individuals to come on board and help us reach out to vulnerable persons, both young and old who are in need. We have a lot to do, but we are unable to reach out due to lack of resources,” Machina added.
