FAKE WHATSAPP AND FACEBOOK ACCOUNTS IMPERSONATING THE ZNS COMMANDER

Zambia National Service (ZNS) is deeply saddened by continued existence of fake WhatsApp and Facebook accounts created under the name of the ZNS Commander Lieutenant General Maliti Solochi.

These fraudulent accounts are being used to demand that individuals seeking employment opportunities in Zambia National Service pay varying amounts of money to the Commander as a prerequisite for employment.

Unfortunately, some unsuspecting members of the public have continued to fall victims to these deceptive schemes.

ZNS, therefore, wishes to denounce such fraudulent activities in the strongest terms possible and expresses sincere sympathy to those who have been duped by these unscrupulous individuals.

The Institution sternly warns perpetrators behind these deceitful acts and has since launched investigations into the matter, in collaboration with the other Security Wings and stakeholders. Those found wanting will be exposed, brought to justice and held accountable for their criminal actions.

We urge members of the public to exercise caution and vigilance when faced with such solicitations on social media platforms.

It is important to note that employment opportunities in ZNS, or any government Institution, are never charged for or dependent on the payment of any fees or charges. It must be noted that ZNS operates on principles of integrity, transparency and equal opportunity for all Zambians.

We further implore members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or solicitations to the appropriate authorities. Together, we can safeguard the integrity of our Institutions and protect unsuspecting individuals from falling prey to fraudulent schemes.
