*GOVERNMENT COMPLETING SINAZEZE MODERN MARKET PROJECT – DC*

Government has committed towards the completion of a massive infrastructure master piece, Sinazeze Modern Market in Sinazongwe District, Southern Province.

The project,  initiated under the Patriotic Front-PF Administration, at some point stalled due to financial constraints. 

But Sinazongwe District Commissioner, Nchimunya Siakole, tells Freelance Journalist Bangwe Naviley Chisenga that the project is nearing completion after being funded. 

“With the coming of the New Dawn Administration, the market project was abandoned way back but Government thought it wise to ensure that such projects are complete. So, that market was funded and the contractor was on site of which very soon it will be handed over to Government,” he said. 

Mr. Siakole said the new market will transform the lives of the people in Sinazongwe District because it is the first ever market where traders will take their commodities. 

“The market is so big that it will allow traders to execute different businesses and as Sinazongwe, that is a very big plus because the District will no longer be the same,” he said. 

The Sinazongwe District Commissioner paid tribute to President Hakainde Hichilema for considering Sinazeze for development.
