“GUY SCOTT IS ALIVE AND ENJOYING GOOD HEALTH”

CHARLOTTE SCOTT, Wife to former Vice President GUY SCOTT has refuted social media reports that her husband has died.

In a Phone interview with ZNBC News, Dr. SCOTT said the former Vice President is alive and enjoying good health.

During the conversation with, ZNBC’s MASAUSO MKWAYAYA was given an opportunity to briefly interact with Dr. SCOTT who was in the company of his former Senior Private Secretary ROBERT KAMALATA.

And, Mr. KAMALATA who is also Lusaka Province Permanent Secretary has called on those spreading malicious and false information that Dr. SCOTTS has died to STOP.

Meanwhile, Information and Media Permanent Secretary THABO KAWANA has urged Zambians to use social media responsibly and avoid spreading fake news.

Mr. KAWANA said it is disappointing that some people who are circulating rumours of former Vice President’s death have no care for the welfare of his family and friends.

Speaking when he visited Dr. SCOTT at his residence in Lusaka’s Leopard’s Hill area this morning, Mr. KAWANA said society has become irresponsible with constant sharing of fake news on social media.

He said Zambians must pray for the former Vice President instead of wishing him dead.
