HATEMBO testifies in the abduction case

A witness has testified that Forum for Democracy and Development –FDD- President EDITH NAWAKWI allegedly incited her and her brother to accuse President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA of having dubiously acquired their family farm in KALOMO District.

PHELUNA HATEMBO has further testified that Ms. NAWAKWI threatened to kill her and her brother MILTON HATEMBO, if they did not comply with the alleged conspiracy.

Ms. HATEMBO has testified before the LUSAKA Magistrate Court that Ms. NAWAKWI was allegedly furious when she and her brother stated that President HICHILEMA had genuinely bought their family farm.

She has testified that the information was conveyed to Ms. NAWAKWI when she and her brother once visited her at her premises in LUSAKA in 2020.

This is in a matter where Ms. NAWAKWI is charged with abduction and threatening violence against some HATEMBO family members on account of their resistance to her alleged conspiracy to accuse President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA of having dubiously acquired their farm in KALOMO District.
