HH in Kenya for fertiliser and soil health summit
(ZANIS) President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has arrived in Kenya to attend the Africa Fertiliser and Soil Health Summit.
President HICHILEMA’s visit follows an invitation from his Kenyan counterpart, President WILLIAM RUTO.
The Summit aims to highlight crucial role of fertiliser and soil health in stimulating sustainable pro-poor productivity growth in agriculture and to forge consensus on African Fertiliser and Soil Health Action Plan.
Acting Foreign Affairs Minister MULAMBO HAIMBE says President HICHILEMA will engage with other African Heads of State along with high-ranking Government officials, senior policymakers and development partners.
Mr. HAIMBE says President HICHILEMA is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with other leaders and heads of key international organisations leveraging the opportunity to discuss pressing regional and global issues.
