Music artist Kay Figo, has described the criteria being used to nominate artists in 2019 Kwacha Music Awards as total bullshit.

Leaving a comment on ZED GOSSIP, Facebook post last night Kay Figo wondered why organisers of the awards have opted to use radio stations to select those who should be nominated.

This follows when Bobby East went to social media to blast organisers for leaving YoMaps as best artist of the year.

This year’s Kwacha Music Awards have been sparked with controversy with people alleging that nominations are being bought.

But organisers of the awards refuted the claims saying nominations were done by radio stations that play songs for those nominated.
