Meet Zambia’s budding young artist “Why Dee”

We caught up with a 15 year old Zambian artist calling himself Why Dee who shares how music is revitalising his energy.

1) What first got you into JA Crew
(same ship same hustle)
Why Dee: Was approached by one of the founder Jerome and according to what they offered I suggested to give it a try 👊 and I was featured in one of the ja crew artist

2) Who inspired you in music ?
Why Dee: Chef 187

3) How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Why Dee: Hip Hop/Rap

4) What is one message you would give to your fans?
Why Dee: To keep supporting me and I promise to give them good music and real hip hop.

5) How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
Why Dee: I feel like the internet has really impacted alot in the music business where as it helped alot of of artists to reach overseas through media and it’s a easy way of interacting with fans from other countries. And last but not the least artists get to earn money through streams on the internet.

7) What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?
Why Dee: Never experienced one yet.

8) What is the best advice you’ve been given?
Why Dee: To keep following my dreams no matter what.

9) If you could change anything about the Zambian music industry, what would it be?
Why Dee: Nothing more to change but just to contribute to the music industry on taking it abroad.

10) What’s next for you?
Why Dee: My next step is to come up on the scene and my music to be recognised by the people.
