New Black Panther trailer: Wakanda Forever, features Sampa The Great, Chef 187, Tio

A new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiered overnight, with Sampa The Great’s recent single ‘Never forget’ which features Chef 187, Tio Nason, and her sister Mwanjé— soundtracking it.

According to the singer, the song was described as “ an ode to Zamrock music, a genre born in the ’70s mixing traditional Zambian music and psychedelic rock.”

Additionally, the song was motivated by music directed on the kalindula, a traditional style of Zambian bass guitar that features outstandingly on ‘Never Forget.’

Components of the song are rooted throughout the new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer, interweave with soundbites from the film and a new orchestral motif. Used outstandingly are parts of the song’s outro, which works out with traditional African chanting and dribbling vocal peace, as well as a percussive instrumental rhythm.
