UPND big wig Morgan Muunda says no President in the history of Zambia has employed civil servants like President Hakainde Hichilema.
Muunda was speaking in Monze District, Southern Province where he urged residents to return President Hichilema to office in next month’s elections.
Muunda said the current administration has prioritized employment in the public service more than any previous government.
He said the record on civil service recruitment under President Hichilema should be used as a reason for voters to retain the UPND in power.
The UPND has consistently cited public service recruitment as one of its key achievements since taking office in 2021, particularly in the health and education sectors.
Next month’s general elections are scheduled for 13th August 2026.
