Eugene Numwa, UPND’s aspiring councillor for Justin Kabwe ward 24, has opened seven new branches in the area as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s presence.

Numwa has recently vowed to deliver the ward from the opposition Patriotic Front to the ruling party. Justin Kabwe ward 24 is under Mandevu constituency, Lusaka, and has in recent years been a PF stronghold.

Accompanied by his chairperson for politics, Vincent Munemo Jr, as well as other wards officials, Numwa said the move is aimed at strengthening the party not only in the ward, but Mandevu as a whole.

The newly opened 7 branches include; Zindo, Mukuni, Tipangane, kalebalika, Tiyanjane, Bally and Upstairs branch.

The aspiring civic leader also contributed a K700 to each branch to help them get established.

Numwa further urged officials to join hands in maintenance of ward, adding that once elected councillor, Justin Kabwe ward would become one of the best in Lusaka.
