Lima Member of Parliament Kelvin Kaunda has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Lima Constituency and Zambians at large for standing with him and his family during their period of incarceration.
In a Sabbath message to his supporters, Kaunda said the overwhelming support, prayers and solidarity he received has shown how well the people know his character and what he stands for.

“On this beautiful Sabbath day, I wish to sincerely thank the people of Lima Constituency and Zambians at large for standing with us, keeping us in your prayers, and offering unwavering support throughout our period of incarceration,” Kaunda said.
He said the experience is a testament to the strong bond he shares with the people of Lima, describing their support as a shared victory.
“Never has it been clearer how well you know us, understand our character, and appreciate what we stand for and what we are capable of achieving. To the people of Lima Constituency, our recent experience is a testament to your support, solidarity and the victory we share together,” he said.
Kaunda added that he does not take the love, faith and prayers for granted, noting that the people’s continued belief in him remains his greatest motivation.
He further disclosed that in the coming days, he will be announcing a number of initiatives aimed at recognising and appreciating the support shown to him.
