AFTER winning the hearts of many in a television drama series of Mpali, Jefter Phiri known as Cephas, last night scopped two awards in South Africa.

Phiri who is a bona fide Zambia Police Service officer and of the Mpali fame grabbed two awards, Best Rising Star of the Year and Best Young Achiever of the Year respectively.
The inaugural Shinning Star Africa Awards that were held in Johannesburg, South Africa also saw other Zambian actors walking away with awards.
