AN AUNT of the 15-year-old footballer of Choma who was allegedly being defiled by her step-father, step-brother and uncle has narrated how she once rebuked the victim for freely asking for money for sanitary pads from the dad instead of her mother.

The witness, who is a cousin of the victim’s mother, said she advised the victim against being too close to her step-father.

In this case, Joseph Bwalya, 55, and his son, Ben Bwalya, 20, are in court for allegedly defiling the girl.

It is alleged that Mr Bwalya, on different occasions, had sex with his step-daughter, a footballer with Barts FC, while her mother was away.

His son, Ben, was allegedly also defiling the girl.
