Zimba thieves return stolen livestock
For the last few months, Noble Lubono livestock have been gradually disappearing and he did not suspect any foul play.
However, when the 19 of them disappeared in one night a few weeks ago, he became suspicious and consulted the spirits of traditional herbalists to guide him.
Mr. Lubono said the traditional herbalist told him that the people involved in his stock theft would turn themselves in and confess to the crime without him following them.
“I consulted traditional Doctor Mawanda and he told me that my cows were alive and somewhere in Choma.” Lubono said.

He added that, Dr.Mawanda without hesitation took him to one of the rooms where he mixed his herbs and told him that before he reaches back home somebody would tell him where the cows were.
“I wondered how the traditional doctor would foresee what was going to happen before I got home. I believed what Dr. Mawanda told me.” Lubono said.
Lubono affirmed that upon reaching his home in Nakowa Area,Zimba Town he found one of his neighbours waiting for him.
“Even before I sat down, My neighbor confessed it was him and a syndicate of thieves who had stolen my cows. My neighbor took me where they had held the cows.” Lubono said.
It was Lubono’s contention that shortly after visiting Dr.Mawanda a young man from the neighborhood came forth and confessed that he knew where the cows were and led them to collect them.
“We found the cows in Choma. My neighbor and the thieves confessed they had collected the cows in a black mitsubishi canter . They told me they were cornered by ruthless unseen spirits before they sold them.” Lubono said.
